Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Vlad, I’m from Ukraine, and I love horror movies and funny animated shows. This is my very first book, and it’s the beginning of a series about the town of Fogmur — a place cursed by a dark ritual that has attracted monsters from all over the world.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Ninja-Werewolf at School from The Secret Heroes Club series. I was inspired by my daughter, who absolutely loves listening to my stories.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Sometimes I growl like a werewolf or practice ninja moves in the living room before writing. My family has learned not to be alarmed. It helps me get into character.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’m a huge fan of the Gravity Falls universe — the mix of mystery, humor, and weirdness really inspires me. I also admire Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series for its wit, imagination, and clever storytelling.
What are you working on now?
I’ve started the second book in the Fogmur series — it’s about vampires. The working title is Blood and Glitter.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I don’t have a clear favorite yet — still learning as I go. But I hope this very site becomes one of the best places to share my work with readers.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write what makes you laugh, cry, or jump out of your chair. If it entertains you, chances are it will entertain someone else too.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Don’t get married.” I ignored it…
What are you reading now?
The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers.
What’s next for you as a writer?
For now, I’ll be focusing on expanding this series. I already have a pile of ideas and plots that I can’t wait to explore.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am Katherine Nandita, an internationally published author writing in English, Spanish, and Japanese. My stories explore love, loss, betrayal, courage, and resilience—through memoirs, multiverse horror, and heartfelt fiction. So far, I have published several books including I Am Not a Prostitute: Diary of a Single Mother, She: Who Walks Between Timelines, Anna: The Girl Between Two Worlds, The Last Train: A Love Story Lost in Time, and Phool and the Girl With No Name – A Living Tale from the Shadows of a Forbidden Colony.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Phool and the Girl With No Name -A Living Tale from the Shadows of a Forbidden Colony . It was born from wounds too deep for silence—the stories we pretend not to see. At the heart of it is a ten-year-old girl, sold into a brothel, her childhood stolen before she even knew what it meant to dream. This book rises from the ashes of that brutality—human trafficking, child prostitution, the unforgivable erasure of innocence. Through Phool, I wanted to give flesh and breath to the cries society buries. Her voice is raw, her pain unfiltered, but within her, there is also a spark of defiance that refuses to die.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, I often write late at night with pen and paper first, instead of typing directly. Handwriting allows emotions to flow more naturally before I transfer them into digital form. I also imagine every scene like a movie—cinematic in detail, with atmosphere and emotion.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have been deeply moved by authors who explore the human condition in raw, emotional ways—writers like Khaled Hosseini, Toni Morrison, and Paulo Coelho. Their ability to capture both pain and hope inspires me to bring authenticity to my own work.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a paranormal mystery novel in English. It’s a haunting story blending love, memory, and the unknown.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use Amazon Author Central, Goodreads, LibraryThing, AllAuthor, and Medium to connect with readers. I also run my Substack newsletter where I share chapters, reflections, and behind-the-scenes thoughts about my stories.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write fearlessly and honestly. Don’t chase trends—write what feels true to your soul. Even if your journey is slow, your authentic voice will eventually find its readers.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Your story matters—even if the world tries to silence you.”
What are you reading now?
Right now, I’m revisiting classics of literature while also exploring contemporary fiction that focuses on resilience and survival.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to keep publishing stories across languages and reach a global audience. I also hope to continue supporting women and children in need through my writing proceeds.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No, don’t believe I have any unusual writing habits! But ask my family! I don’t believe in waiting for inspiration to strike, I believe in showing up. Most of my writing is done in the quiet of the early morning, often with a strong cup of coffee by my side. I aim for steady progress, even if it’s just a page or two each day, because consistency builds stories far better than bursts of energy followed by silence.
I carry a notebook with me everywhere, as ideas tend to arrive at the most inconvenient times, during a walk, a conversation, or even while cooking dinner. Some of those scribbled thoughts later become the spark for a scene or even the seed of an entire book.
I write with a balance of planning and discovery. I usually sketch out the historical framework or emotional arc I want to follow, but I also let the characters surprise me along the way. For me, the joy of writing comes in that blend, structure to keep the story moving, and imagination to keep it alive.
Above all, I try to end each writing session at a point where I know what happens next. That way, when I return to the desk, I can slip back into the story without hesitation. Writing, for me, is both discipline and delight, a daily practice of stepping into other worlds and bringing them back to life on the page.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’ve always been inspired by writers who can transport readers into another time or place and make it feel utterly real. Historical novelists such as Hilary Mantel and Ken Follett showed me how history could be brought to life with depth, humanity, and drama. On the romantic side, I’ve admired authors like Rosamunde Pilcher and Nicholas Sparks, who capture the beauty and heartbreak of human connection in ways that linger long after the final page.
Beyond those, I’ve drawn influence from storytellers such as Daphne du Maurier, with her mastery of atmosphere and intrigue, and Sebastian Faulks, whose novels balance history, love, and the fragility of the human spirit.
I also find myself returning to the classics, Jane Austen for her wit and timeless observations of love and society, and Charles Dickens for his unforgettable characters and his ability to weave social commentary into powerful narratives.
Together, these voices have shaped how I see storytelling: as a bridge between the real and the imagined, a way to explore both the struggles and the joys of being human.
What are you working on now?
That would be telling! But all I can say, it’s a book!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m a newbie to the writing world, so I’m learning all the time. I simply promote my books on social media and use, book2read.com lulu.com and use The Book Network and now here.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Never give up. It’s not easy starting out, there are good and bad moments, but thats in everything. Write and rewrite, even if at times, your in the middle of a story, if it doesn’t feel right, change it….I have many times! But all in all, have faith, believe in yourself and you will finish that book!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
This might sound strange, but someone told me once, “it’s crap!” “You’ll never write anything good” Then, I had…”That’s a fantastic story, We’ll publish it…and heres an invoice for £5,000! Writing is a minefield. Why was this the best advice? Because I got better, I learned more and I believe in myself. So if you get rejected, and it happens to everyone, keep going.
What are you reading now?
The Cut by Richard Armitage.
You can’t escape your past. The cut always reopens.
In the sleepy village of Barton Mallet, the old ruins of Blackstone Mill watch over the residents as they go about their quiet lives. Ben Knot and his friends are looking forward to a summer of fun and freedom once their last year of school is over. The class of 1994 have been through a lot together, good and bad, but teasing turns to bullying when the Knot gang target younger boy Mark Cherry. As tensions rise and violence escalates, the group fractures and tragedy strikes. Before the summer is over, one of them will be killed. Murdered by someone they called a friend.
It’s a great read.
What’s next for you as a writer?
For me, I’m still reshaping into a new way of living. But I’m enjoying having a more relaxed way of living, being able to concentrate on writing and whatever else, comes along. After working the 9 till 5, shift work and everything else, that we all know about! So for the time being, finding, working in my space, working on my stories, is for me.

My name is Tanmoy Mondal, and I am a student who is passionate about storytelling. I don’t see myself as a big author yet—I’m still learning and growing—but writing is something I truly love. I am also a new author, so I don’t have very specific advice. But one thing I would like to share is this: if you are doing something, put your full effort into it. Don’t just write what you want—write in a way that readers will enjoy and connect with.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The best advice I have ever heard is: “The fruit of patience is really, really, really sweet.” This line has stayed with me and motivates me in my journey as a writer.
What are you reading now?
At the moment, I am not reading any novels. Right now, I am enjoying manga especially from my favorite anime, Demon Slayer.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I would like to explore more stories and continue writing new books. My goal is to grow as a writer and reach more readers through my future works.

I’m schizophrenic, this is a disabling disease ruining almost every life it touches. If you end up with it, it will likely ruin every relationship you ever have, destroy every work situation, cut 15 years off your life, leave you periodically homeless.
90+% of the people you meet will think is a dance you do to get help from the government. And believe you really aren’t disabled.
In my spare time between warring against madness, I’ve written 1 novella, a middle grade, 2 poetry chapbooks, and I guess that leaves 15 novels.
People want to talk about my life? It likely ain’t like yours.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Jared Wolf, I wanted to try a middle grade, I have a 500 pound gorilla of a muse, and he wanted it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Besides the fact I tend to finish books like clockwork? No. Coffee.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I would like to find something I can read.
Do you see how I put whitespace right there? Then on this paragraph I made the paragraph a little taller. Almost as if I’m partially painting on the page with white space?
Other writers don’t do that as a rule, formatters will eliminate it, publishers will outlaw it to save paper. I need this paint with white space to read it. So show me a writer who paints with white space.

What are you working on now?
Scorched Earth.
I’m doing quarterly 99 cent sales, trying to build momentum.
To me the pinnacle of writing, isn’t writing, it’s marketing.
I want a third R.A.E.C.E. book, in the worst way, but quarterly sales where everything is 99 cents is a priority.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have 19 ebooks on Amazon, set everything to 99 cents on kindle countdown, buy every newsletter ad that looks good and stay under budget.
Buy from small businesses, lone wolves, mom and pop shops, and stay away from billion dollar corporations.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yeah, paint with white space. It’s not hard.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Marketing is what sells books, not writing, within reason of course, a turd is still harder to distribute.
What are you reading now?
I can’t find a book. I have 2 poetry books. I’m planning R.A.E.C.E. Leviticus, I might read Leviticus, or I might read R.A.E.C.E. Genesis or Exodus or all three.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I would beg for food plant seeds instead. And pounds of them. Legumes especially. A good knife and saw. An infinite spool of rope with a way to cut off pieces.

Interview With Author Joshua Clark
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a retired military veteran who served for 20 years before settling in Portland, Oregon. There, I met my beloved wife, and together we built a family with six children and two cats. I am a Catholic, and deeply committed to my faith, my role as a husband and father, and my passion for helping others. I enjoy drawing, writing, reading, and watching movies. Through my books, I seek to inspire, guide, and encourage others on their journeys of faith, family, and personal growth. I have currently written 15 books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is titled – A Taste for Death: Death Becomes Her. It was inspired by the question of “what would happen if the victim had to help solve the case involving a serial killer?”
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes. At least I think so. I will often get an idea in the middle of a chapter that I am writing and it will be for an idea later in the story and I will feel the need to immediately write that scene down and have to later find a way to fit it in. This leads to many scenes later NOT fitting the book in it’s then current form and having to be discarded. Regardless of how much I am attached to them. Perhaps someday I will release some of those scenes and chapters for my readers separately.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Stephen King has definitely been one of the greatest influences on my fiction writing career although oddly I haven’t yet written a horror novel. Hmmm. Someday. I have also been influenced by Nicholas Sansbury smith, Jonathan Maberry, and a handful of others.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a couple of books. One is a shapeshifting novel titled “Whispers of the Mountain”, the first in a new series, another is the sixth novel in my “Navaerian Chronicles” series titled “Robyn Hood – Queen of Thieves”, and the final book is the second novel in my “Bellmare Cove” Series titled “The Lighthouse Between Us”
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have yet to figure that out unfortunately. I have high hopes for “Awesomegang.com” Cross your fingers readers! 🙂
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write, write, write, and for Goodness sakes it will never be perfect. At some point you have to recognize that, pull the chute, and publish. Stop editing the same chapter for years and years and just finish it, clean it up as best you can and publish. You can always re-visit it later, make some changes, and release an updated version…but get it out there.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write, write, write, and publish. It will never be perfect.
What are you reading now?
I am reading a few books at the moment. “Dragon in Winter” by Jonathan Maberry, “Burn to Shine” by Jonathan Maberry, King of the Wastes (Hell Divers, #8) by Nicholas Sansbury Smith, Custos: Total Consecration Through Saint Joseph by Devin Schadt, Ego Is the Enemy
by Ryan Holiday, and Be Water, My Friend: The Teachings of Bruce Leeby Shannon Lee. I have ADHD so I am always on the move, always reading and writing, and always learning.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Becoming a good writer. I am working diligently on my craft, but right now I would consider myself a passable writer. There are snapshots of wonder, dare I say pride? in some of my writing, but I am nowhere near the caliber of those I admire and aspire to honor in my prose.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Bible, The Dark Tower by Stephen King – Home to the single greatest opening line in all of literature “The man in black fled across the desert and the Gunslinger followed”, The Talisman by Stephen King – The first book that ever made me cry, and Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry – The first in a series that continues to this day with my favorite character that I had the honor of getting to know “Joe Ledger”.
