Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Pious Nnamdi Enwereonu, a Minister of God, Author, Speaker, Detective, and Advocate for Intelligence and Mental Health. I have served in the Nigeria Police Force for over two decades, with experience spanning surveillance, operations, administration, and digital safety. My passion for human potential, mental wellness, and truth-seeking has shaped both my service and my writing.

I have authored four books so far:

1. The Intelligent Madman: How to Live a Healthy Life after Experiencing Mental Illness (Schizophrenia) – A reflective and empowering guide for people affected by schizophrenia.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The title of my latest book is The Law of Integrative Intelligence: Unlocking Human Potential Through Synthesis.

The inspiration for writing it came when I observed a growing number of online search engine queries around the term “Integrative Intelligence.” It became clear that people were seeking a deeper understanding of how different aspects of intelligence—such as emotional, analytical, spiritual, and cognitive—work together in solving life’s challenges.

That realization sparked something in me. I felt compelled to define and explore this concept not just theoretically, but neurocognitively, philosophically, and spiritually, drawing on both recent scientific findings and my own lived experience. This book offers a unique and expansive approach to understanding how human beings can synthesize their capacities to navigate complexity and live more meaningfully.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, I do have some rather unconventional writing habits. One of them is that I often experience a state of deep mental immersion, where I become so focused on writing that time seems to disappear. In such moments, I can pour out chapters in one sitting, especially when the message feels spiritually or intellectually urgent.

Another unique habit of mine is that a single quote or aphorism can birth an entire article or even a book chapter. I often begin by writing short philosophical or spiritual reflections, and then expand them into deeper explorations with practical, psychological, or theological relevance.

I also tend to write in bursts of divine inspiration, often late at night or in the early hours of the morning when my mind is most attuned to both inner guidance and deep reflection.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
The most profound influence on my life and writing has been the Bible. It has shaped my worldview, values, and understanding of the human mind, purpose, and spiritual intelligence.

Beyond the Bible, I’ve been inspired by a wide range of thought leaders whose works touch on personal growth, psychology, mental resilience, and strategic thinking. Notable among them are:

Tony Robbins – especially Awaken the Giant Within and Unlimited Power, which opened my mind to the power of decision and mental reprogramming.

Joe Dispenza – You Are the Placebo helped deepen my interest in neuroplasticity and the intersection between belief and biology.

Napoleon Hill – Think and Grow Rich laid the foundation for my understanding of goal-setting and the power of thought.

George S. Clason – The Richest Man in Babylon taught me timeless principles of financial wisdom and discipline.

Jehovah’s Witnesses’ publication Mankind’s Search for God helped broaden my appreciation for spiritual inquiry across cultures.

Daniel Goleman – Emotional Intelligence and Social Intelligence deeply influenced my exploration into how emotional and social skills relate to mental health.

Robert Greene – The 48 Laws of Power gave me critical insight into human behavior and influence.

Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret introduced me to the idea of the law of attraction, which I filtered through a more spiritually discerning lens.

What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on a new book titled Thought Intelligence: The 21 Pillars of Superior Thinking. This work delves into the architecture of thought itself—how individuals can refine their mental processes to achieve clarity, decisiveness, resilience, and purpose-driven results in an increasingly complex world.

The book aims to provide readers with 21 core principles that underpin what I call “thought intelligence,” integrating insights from neuroscience, philosophy, mental health, faith, and lived experience.

In addition to this, I’m also developing an academic paper focused on adaptive achievement and neurocognitive flexibility, a concept I’ve named the Pious Universal Law of Extrapolation (PULE). While the research is still in progress, it draws from both scientific inquiry and personal recovery experience to help people understand how adaptive action can lead to sustainable success.

These upcoming works are a continuation of my broader mission—to help individuals unlock their inner potential through integrated intelligence, spiritual clarity, and strategic thinking.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
When it comes to promoting my books, I rely on a strategic blend of social and professional platforms that allow me to connect meaningfully with my audience.

I use my Facebook profile and Facebook author page to engage directly with readers through quotes, insights, and book updates. WhatsApp is also effective, especially for grassroots sharing, direct communication, and community engagement.

On the professional side, I utilize LinkedIn to reach an audience interested in my work on intelligence, mental health, and forensic investigation. I also publish thoughtful essays and excerpts from my books on Medium, which helps to reach readers who appreciate deeper reflections on life, mental resilience, and personal growth.

Rather than relying solely on one platform, I find that a multi-platform approach—each tailored to a specific audience—works best for both visibility and impact.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, absolutely. My advice to new authors is simple but profound: Start where you are, use what you have, and keep growing.

Many aspiring writers wait for the “perfect time,” the “perfect publisher,” or the “perfect manuscript.” But progress begins when you take action with what you already know. Perfection is not the starting point—commitment is.

Also, don’t underestimate the power of your unique voice. The world is saturated with content, but authenticity stands out. Your story, perspective, or insight could be exactly what someone needs to read to find healing, direction, or courage.

Understand that writing is as much a mental and emotional journey as it is a creative one. There will be obstacles—fear of rejection, self-doubt, or financial constraints—but keep going. Learn from feedback. Embrace criticism with humility. Celebrate progress, no matter how small.

Lastly, remember: Your words have power. Use them wisely. Use them to serve. Use them to uplift.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The best advice I’ve ever heard is found in the Bible book of Isaiah 30:15:

“Your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust.”

If I were ever stranded on a desert island, I would take with me the following four books—each one a deep well of strength, insight, and transformation:

1. The Bible — My ultimate source of spiritual direction, comfort, and wisdom. It anchors me, reminds me of divine purpose, and connects me to the highest power beyond circumstances.

2. Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins — A masterwork on personal empowerment and human potential. It would keep me mentally sharp and remind me that I still have the power to choose how I respond to my situation.

3. You Are the Placebo by Dr. Joe Dispenza — This book shows how the mind and belief can influence the body and change one’s internal reality—vital knowledge for staying healthy and resilient in isolation.

4. Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life by Brian Tracy — A brilliant guide on reprogramming thought patterns and unlocking inner success. On a desert island, clarity of thought would be as crucial as food and shelter.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
The name’s Rex Flint. I don’t normally do these interviews. It’s best to keep a sort of low profile for people like me. There are too many eyes and ears out there watching for a mis-step. I was a cyber operator for the DoD and the intelligence community for 30 years in a past life. Even wore the Air Force uniform for part of that time. I’ve written a the odd short story or two. All “fiction” I can assure you (at least that’s what I tell the brass at the Pentagon when they come calling to make sure I don’t say the wrong thing). I just have the one book…for now.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Shadow Sentinel is my debut novel.

As to what inspired it, I think it’s best if I keep some of that Top Secret, if you catch my drift? Maybe I have an over-active imagination, and maybe I’m trying to get word out there to the general public with my “fiction.” You see things after 30 years with a Top Secret clearance walking the halls of the Pentagon. My life is full of four-letter words and three-letter agencies.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Only one. I have to wrestle with the US government everytime I release something. They are fearful I’ll say the wrong thing, so I stick to “fiction.” They can’t deny my story about genetically mutated monsters if it’s fiction. Get it?

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorites. I think I liked it better when it was 100% fiction though.

Stephen King is another favorite of mine. He’s the master of a slow burn thriller based on great storie and characters.

I have always admired Voltaire and Mark Twain, for the same reason: their voice and wit.

What are you working on now?
It’s classified…but it involves time travel.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I don’t do websites, and I don’t do “promotions.” There’s a cohort of readers out there who will always find my work, if they’re looking for it.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write a lot.
Learn about writing.
Repeat.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“You’ve got to jump off the cliff all the time and build your wings on the way down.” – Ray Bradbury

What are you reading now?
Time Travel Science Fiction short stories mostly.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Probably a visit from some uniforms from D.C. if this thing takes off and gets too big for its britches. But pending being hauled off to the Bradley Corridor at the Pentagon to get grilled by some 4-star general or another, I think the next thing will be this time travel piece. It’s going to blow the lid on a few things.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
1. Some kind of “how to survive a desert island for dummies” book definitely.
2. The Lost World by Michael Crichton
3. Candide by Voltaire
4. A Kindle Unlimited subscription on my Kindle (I know that’s like wishing for more wishes, but I’m a bit of a maverick and rules are meant to be broken).

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have been writing since I was 16 but heared the old adage, write about what you know. All I knew at 16 was teenage angst, the world of a secretary and that my dog had died. Fast forward 40 years later. I have travelled, lost many human friends and relations, the most recent death was my Mother. A crushing blow to the soul, but I suppose my awakening and writing was my therapy. It was time for the snail with all the experience of life, medicine, paediatrics, and nursing her mother to come out of its shell and taste the world around her.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
This book was written at my Mothers hospital bedside, whilst she lay in deep sleep, and I had been told the bitter tragic news that at 89 years of age, it was time for us to say goodbye. I think she, my love for medical dramas, my insight into magic and experience in that world, plus bereavement led me to write the first series of Ripples of Blaine. Iridescence of a Raven, its borderline mental and physical torture of two main characters, although they free now.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I will write any where, whatsapp is great for jotting down ideas, on a park bench, on the train, waiting for appointments. My writing tablet, used to spend hours writing and making notes. Eating pistachios I guess is a habit. Talking out loud to my characters in the park and having a conversation but I have always talked to myself, and found its common practice amongst some people. Thank goodness for mobile phones.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
All the classics, Thomas Hardy, Charlotte Bronte. CS Lewis, I read the whole of Narnia in my teens and again later in life. PD James, her murder mysteries enthrall me. Agatha Christie and those red herrings, brilliant! Ian Fleming and his novels on James Bond where life long friends. Terry Prachett absolutely hilarious I still think the world is flat. JKR Tolkein and his mystical elves, terrible awks and hobbits. Stephen King, Pet Semetary for example. James Herbert The Magic Cottage for example. Finally JK Rowling I love the novels of Harry Potter, I was so depressed with life and she kindled a fire in me I had lost. Never knew that I would walk in her shoes, in my personal family life though.

What are you working on now?
I am working on this series, but I am into series 6 or 7, its just taken wings and flew. Breakfast, Dinner and Tea, pushed to the side line whilst my mind is buzzing with what happens next. I have the basic plot line, I know what going to happen, but it just writes its self, the characters just want to speak,

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Promoting this book is or has been difficult. I just found you, and the free promotion idea on Amazon. My website is new. I wrote so many blogs many years ago, so easy to do. Now they seem like a mine field. Someone told me to do some promotion work, and since I have Daz Studio I can create those characters. Some people do not like Ai imagery but its been very helpful. I also take a lot of photographs of places that inspire me and the story.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Its the oldest advice I can give you. Write about what you know, and if you don’t know it then do it. Like going to nursing school because you wanted to be a doctor, or teaching because you enjoyed teaching. Write often, fortunately after 40 years, technology has changed and if you get writers block you say hey Gemini, this is what I am stuck on give me some ideas.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write about what you know, experience life, and write everything down. If your struggling ask someone a friend for help.

What are you reading now?
When I am writing I find it difficult to read. I am still listening to JR Tolkeins Lord of the Rings whilst I am prepping meals, or resting. There are few books I am interested in, especially reading new author titles, struggling young authors who need someone to say. Thats great, thats a spine tingler, I can’t read it at night.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I am still working on this series and still self editing the paper back.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Oh no thats not fair, not even a series of books! Probably LOTR and finish it thats one because I have the Triology in one book. Perhaps Pet Semetary, I would read that again, Magic Cottage. It would be a toss up between Magicians Nephew CS Lewis or just one Harry Potter book, I think Chamber of Secrets the. Oh thats five, leave the make up behind.

I grew up living in many places around the world. After graduate degrees and a rewarding career in Silicon Valley, I now focus on writing. I strive to combine real-world experience and knowledge to create inspiring characters within interesting, intricate thrillers and mysteries. I have written 3 espionage thrillers.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is named “Where Sunflowers Stand: A Traitor in Ukraine. A Spy in Russia. A CIA Man. And the Fight for Freedom.” I was inspired to write an espionage book against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have many favorite books: Siddhartha, The Prophet, Brazil, The Spy who Came in from the Cold and a current book that I loved: Andy Weir’s “Project Hail Mary.”

What are you working on now?
I’m in between projects.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
This is very difficult. I have tried many promotions but they elevate the sales for a period and then they die down. I advertise on Amazon and that is the best for now.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Think about your market before you write.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Churchill: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

What are you reading now?
David Ignatius’ espionage books.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Coming up with the next idea.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Francesco Zago, and I’m an independent author with a deep passion for emotional well-being, personal growth, and creativity. I’m not a psychologist or educator I write from lived experience, aiming to give readers simple, practical tools to navigate life. I’ve published several titles on Amazon KDP, including self-help guides, natural wellness books, and, most recently, a workbook for children and parents.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is called Big Emotions, Calm Kids – Emotional Intelligence Workbook for Ages 6–11. It was inspired by my own childhood. Growing up, I experienced intense emotions without the tools or support to understand or manage them. Emotional education wasn’t part of my early years—and that left a lasting impression. This workbook is the guide I wish I had as a child: a compassionate, hands-on resource to help kids and parents explore emotions together and build emotional strength.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I often write at night, when everything is quiet and I can hear myself clearly. I enjoy working in long stretches—five or six hours at a time—with soft music playing in the background. Sometimes ideas come while I’m walking or doing housework, so I always keep a notebook close by.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’ve been inspired by authors like Paolo Borzachiello (for persuasive communication), Hal Elrod (for personal development), and Thich Nhat Hanh (for emotional mindfulness). For children’s literature, books like The Whole-Brain Child and The Color Monster offered valuable inspiration.

What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on a second volume focused on emotional intelligence for teens, and a natural wellness cookbook that blends mindful eating with self-care practices. I’m also developing a course to help independent authors promote their books using Amazon Ads.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Along with Amazon Ads and social media content, I’ve started using automation tools for consistent book promotion and email marketing. Niche Facebook groups and newsletters like AwesomeGang have also been great for reaching new readers especially for free or discounted promos.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write the book you wish you had when you needed it most. Don’t wait for perfection write, improve, publish. Success comes from consistency, not luck. Study the market, but stay authentic in your voice.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
You don’t write for everyone you write for someone.” If you try to please everyone, you lose your voice. But when you speak directly to the people who need your message, you make a real impact.

What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading Raising Good Humans by Hunter Clarke-Fields, a book on compassionate communication, and a Japanese philosophy text that blends Wabi-Sabi and Ikigai.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m expanding my emotional wellness series for both children and adults. I’m also outlining a collection of practical mini-guides on applying Eastern philosophy to modern life.
