Author Bio:
Jeff Evans is a storyteller with a global perspective and a heart for adventure. His debut children’s book, Bella and Mandy and the Case of the Vanishing Snacks, captures the playful chaos of two mischievous pups—and is the first in a series. At the same time, Jeff is working on an adult thriller slated for release later this year, marking the beginning of a diverse and exciting writing portfolio.
Jeff’s passion for storytelling began early—at just thirteen, he was floor-directing live television. That spark turned into a lifelong calling. Over the past 30 years, he’s worked at the intersection of politics, media, and ministry. He’s served as a television producer, strategist, and nonprofit board member, and has helped shape messaging for campaigns, causes, and ministries around the world.
His work and travels have taken him from the White House lawn to leper colonies in Ethiopia, from sunrise cycling down Maui’s Haleakala Volcano to market stalls in Hong Kong on the eve of its handover to China. He’s met Presidents, walked beside Mother Teresa, and attended Pentagon briefings on nuclear threats. Every experience has fueled his writing with authenticity, depth, and wonder.
Jeff’s creative efforts have earned him 23 Pollie Awards, a national ADDY, four Telly Awards, and recognition across the political and nonprofit sectors. His faith has been central to his work—producing a nationally broadcast television program for Christ for all Nations, serving as a premarital counselor, and coaching youth basketball through the Upward Basketball program.
When not writing or directing, Jeff and his wife Cathy are often on the road. For seven years, they traveled full-time in their motorhome, capturing the beauty of America and sharing their journey on their blog, Adventures Along the Way.
