About Beyond The Savage Plains
When Lucy Schofield is taken captive by a band of Crow Indians only a few days after her fifth birthday Caleb Sadler’s parents decide not to tell their son what has happened to his friend, after all Caleb is only 8 years of age. Caleb does find out about the tragedy however on the day of his 15th birthday. Horrified by the news, Caleb makes a vow to find and bring his childhood friend back home but his parents force him to wait until he is 18 years of age before doing so. On the day after his 18th birthday, Caleb sets out to find Lucy and so begins his adventure.
During his quest Caleb encounters a man named Logan who is on exactly the same mission as he is, to free a captive white girl from the Crow. After Logan saves Caleb’s life, the two men travel to the Crow village together in an effort to free the girls.
Caleb and Logan get help to free the girls from a very unlikely source, a Crow maiden called Cashala who actually lives in the village.
After Cashala helps Logan and Caleb to free the two white girls, she cannot return to the village because she knows that she would be put to death for helping the white captives to escape. She therefore leaves the village with Logan, Caleb and the two white captives. The five friends now have to find their way home through hostile lands filled with danger at every turn.
And so begins a thrilling adventure where Caleb’s mission to rescue his childhood friend soon changes due to unforeseen and tragic circumstances.

Author Bio:
Hello fellow readers. My name is Stuart McIntyre and I live in Scotland with my wife and son. Ever since I can remember I have always enjoyed reading. I was seldom without a book in my hand. I enjoyed reading Thrillers, Crime novels, Horror novels and Westerns. An interest in reading Westerns and watching Western movies prompted me to write my first novel “Cameron of Carson Creek”. I have since written several other novels, details of which can be found on the Amazon website. I do not write books for profit, I simply write for the enjoyment of doing so and hope that at the same time I give enjoyment to anyone who reads my books. If anyone is kind enough to read one of my books I would be much obliged if they could leave a rating and a review on the Amazon website. I welcome all types of feedback. Thank you to all readers of my books; past, present and future and thank you fellow authors. Happy reading.
