Author Bio:
Author David C. Perry is an active writer living in eastern Washington since 2012. Before that, he and his bride lived in the state of Alaska for seventeen years. Whenever Dave meets someone from Texas, he loves to inform him or her that if Alaska was cut in two pieces, Texas would be the third largest state in the U.S.
Dave and Bonnie thank God for their years in Alaska as well as the opportunity to move back to the Inland Northwest. Having been reared in Libby, Montana, Dave loves the proximity to the mountains and wilderness in the area.
Having graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in the 1980s, Dave loves researching and writing about the history of the brave sailors who went before him, opening the sea lanes for the greatest nation in the world. The early United States was a maritime nation, and time and again her Navy was called on to defend her vital trade.
A few years ago, while watching our nation become more and more divided, he decided to create a world in “The Al-Unidos Chronicles” to allow states and individuals to do something about it. The fun part of this new series is how he has written the characters of people he knows and loves into the story.
In addition to dividing his writing time between these two series, Dave has published several children’s books, several short stories, and eight novels. The children’s books are a special treat. Every fall, Dave sets aside his novel series writing and selects a well-known story from the Bible. He then paraphrases the story, adding his grandchildren into it as observant characters. This is his Christmas gift to them.
Most recently, Dave dove into the non-fiction genre with “Biblical Employee Compensation Principles.” This allowed him to apply more than thirty years of compensation experience with his love of writing and storytelling.
All of Dave’s books and short stories are available on Amazon.com for Kindle and paperback. Some are also in Audible.
