Author Bio:
Lori Beth Long was born and raised in Wisconsin. She is currently a psychotherapist (licensed mental health counselor), corporate trainer, and author living in South Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in writing and philosophy from the University of Tampa and Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Virginia. Other than short stories and professional journal articles, Bipolarized is Lori’s first book. She currently has a full-time private practice where she serves a variety of clients. Her nonprofit corporation, Comprehensive Offender Rehab & Re-Entry, Inc., serves people while they are incarcerated and upon their release. To avoid recidivism, Lori and her colleagues offer counseling groups and individual psychotherapy as well as re-entry services to find clients housing and employment. As a clinical hypnotherapist, Lori helps all clients access their subconscious minds to make changes, manage anxiety and depression, and overcome trauma.
