Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I written six books and co-authored 3 and written a forward in another.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
1380 Prospect Avenue: Not Another Bronx Tale. Working with children and families fir vet 40 years inspired me to write about teens in foster care
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like sitting on the balcony overlooking NYC.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Are You There God It’s Me Margaret , by Judy Blume and A Time to Forgive, by Libby Edwards-Warner
What are you working on now?
I’m working on my Podcast, Basic Blaque After Dark on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month @8 pm. We have relaxed conversation about family changes, cultural customs, and parenting styles. Now there will be other sensitive topics that arise based on the needs and expectations of the community, and from time to time we have guest and friends dropping by with other topics.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, write, write, and keep on writing until it makes sense to you.

To get to know your writing style and be my authentic self.

I’m hoping to have my trailer for 1380 Prospect Avenue: Not Another Bronx Tale. turn into a movie. I am also working on a television series
