About Book of Mercy by Sherry Roberts
Midwest Book Awards Finalist.
Dyslexic Antigone Brown despairs of ever being a good parent to her unborn child. She runs a deer farm in Mercy, North Carolina, where the Mercy Study Club has started censoring library books. This is a fight Antigone doesn’t want to get involved in, battling for the very things that have made her life a misery—books. But she will, setting in motion a series of events destined to change Mercy—and her—forever.
This intriguing read explores a serious subject (censorship) with a sprinkle of humor and features quirky, big-hearted characters you’ll fall in love with.
