Interview With Author Bort Patgia
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
As an introvert, I spent most of my time playing video games or reading some eBooks which was the reason why I became so interested writing novels. As of now, I completed writing 3 books. The 4th one is still in progress.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Although unpublished, my latest novel is the The Dark Entry, the 2nd installment of the Jaeger Series and the spin-off of Brigante Ark series. The story was about a teenager who has unknown origin and was on his quest of figuring out who he is supposed to be. He was tangled by series of unfortunate events that will led him to the person he must become. The character of my book was heavily inspired by none other Superman. Yep, it sounds cliché, but he Superman is the beacon of hope that I want my character to bear the same.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I have no idea on what qualifies being unusual, but I used to write more than ten hours a day and once I was deprived of sleep, that’s when the fun begins. Because of being high due to lack of sleep, my ideas began to float and enables me to write some comedic and uncanny scenes. After that, I take break from writing around two to three days.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
