Author Bio:
As a business owner and certified nutrition coach, Gilbert Rios helps busy parents and first responders lose weight without restrictive dieting. Having helped hundreds of clients reach their fitness goals, including physique competitors, Gilbert has an extensive background of 15 years fitness coaching.
Prior to coaching, Gilbert served as a Deputy with the Kings County Sheriff's Office. During this time, he held several positions including patrol deputy, SWAT operator, detective, recruit training officer, and task force investigator. He was a recipient of the Silver Star for his actions in 2018.
Before joining the sheriff's office, Gilbert served in the United States Marine Corps for four years in the communication field and held a secondary military occupation as a combat marksmanship coach.
When Gilbert is not coaching, he loves working out, eating, and traveling with his wife and son.
