Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I grew up in the Bay Area, CA with my German mother and Scottish-Irish father. After receiving a BA in Communication Studies from SJSU, Summa Cum Laude, my PR and corporate marketing career took me from high-tech Silicon Valley to PR agencies in NYC, managing major campaigns for fortune 100 companies. In the last 15 years, I dedicated myself to marketing consulting in a field I loved: health and wellness. I obtained certification in Advanced Hypnotherapy at the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy with special certifications in intuition. Although my path seemed to wind in every direction, I now realize the diverse experiences have helped me pursue my passion for writing and complete “Mind Masters,” my first novel.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Mind Masters was partly inspired by my own strange intuitive experiences. As I grew older, I realized that although telepathic phenomena were common amongst all walks of life, they were rarely discussed in professional discussions and even feared. I had to know more. I dove into research by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, and even traveled to Africa with Amelia Kincade to study human-animal communication in the outback. It an attempt to understand the riddles of life, my spiritual journey has brought me to guarded temples in Japan, sacred ruins in the Inca Andes, ancient holy temples in Poland, and protected spiritual landmarks in India and Australia. Despite my travels, my inner journey has always been the most intriguing and revealing. Mind Masters combines my quest for adventure and thrill along with my thirst for deeper knowing.
