About Bump, Swing, Ring! by Jane Berlingieri
Initially written when the author was just six years old, this story has been updated and expanded and brought to new life in this delightful storybook, complete with charming and comical illustrations.
Join Alexander as he adventures through life, eating well with his friends and family in the humans’ home. One day, Alexander decides he wants to see what school is all about. After all, the children spend so much time there, it must be interesting . . .
But before he gets to school, Alexander must manage the school bus—and when you are a tiny mouse, even getting onto the bus is a grand adventure!
Alexander’s bus trip doesn’t go according to plan as he keeps getting spotted by the children who tell the bus driver at once. But the driver can’t see Alexander and he begins to wonder if the children are telling the truth or if they’re just tricking him. He begins to get a bit grumpy even though it is a beautiful day.
Alexander has no idea why the driver keeps stopping the bus and shouting—but the reader will know exactly why!
Once you finish reading this wonderful storybook, you are sure to agree with that long-ago teacher that this is, indeed, “A very good story!”
