Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I started writing very young. Short stories and chapter books about my friends and my life. I moved on to fiction as I got older and realized that I’m in love with telling a story.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
It Was All A Dream was inspired by my true feelings for a remarkable person. I’m a hopeless romantic and the universe just lead me to the final destination of writing how it feels to be drawn to someone else in today’s world.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m normally a when the mood hits me sort of writer. I’ve been making a conscious effort to write at scheduled times so I can complete my next novella.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I grew up reading Beverly Clearly books. I identified with the Ramona series. From there I was hooked on Sweet Valley High books. I’m recently getting into more science fiction.
What are you working on now?
The sequel to my book By The Dawn’s Blue Light is my latest project. Afterward I’ll be doing a follow up to my book The Late Nite Note Series the poetry edition. It will have many of the poems from my blog.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I find that my blog and social media have given some great promotional tools. I’m happy that I stumbled upon this website also because it allows me to broaden my horizons.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up. It’s hard to believe that your words will touch someone else but the gratitude that I receive when someone tells me that they enjoyed my book makes it all worth it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write because you love it not because you want to get paid.

I’m currently reading How to lose a husband By Toya Wright
What’s next for you as a writer?
As a writer and blogger I see myself writing more and getting better at it . I’m chasing my destiny with my dreams in toll.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Intellectual Devotional, The Bible, Fly Girl, and one of mine.
