Interview With Author Caleb Mwangome
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Caleb Mwangome, a Kenyan poet and writer. I’ve written and published one poetry collection.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
It’s titled ‘Circle Of Perfection’
I drew inspiration from my own daily experiences and those of others.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I prefer writing poems on my notebook rather than typing on my device.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The book, Raising A Sun by Mufasa Poet Rupi Kaur.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on my second poetry title. I’m hoping it will be out towards the end of the year
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I promote my books on my social media pages. I’ve also tried Fiverr.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep the fire burning. Giving up isn’t a better option.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Nobody cares you are a writer. It’s you that should put the effort to write.
