Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I divide my time between fine art and writing. I was the senior product designer for a technology company until I started writing and painting full time. I’ve written four novels, although I have several other unfinished stories. The first novel was As Happy As Ling. The story has several artists in it, so it’s a subject I know well. There’s a little bit of me in most of the characters.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I recently (November 2019) released my first novel, As Happy As Ling. It was inspired by love for art and family experiences. I highlight human struggles and the light at the end of the tunnel that offers hope.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I hum the words to myself as I write.

What are you working on now?
I’m painting and slowly developing several manuscripts.

I’m new to self promotion

Being an insecure perfectionist is sometimes a good thing when it come to writing.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t take yourself seriously.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Not sure, maybe coping strategies for anxiety and depression.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
