Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written six books about Peaches & Paprika, my two rescue cats. My first book, published in May 2020 is called “Peaches & Paprika, calico cats of distinction: Our First Year in Connecticut. My next four books comprise a mini-series called “Celebrations” and figure the adventurous calicos celebrating via photo cartoons over 100 fun and quirky holidays most people do not know about!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Winter Celebration celebrates via photo cartoons funny holidays taking in place in January through March. “National Kite Flying Day” where Peaches is accidentally kite-napped and rises through the air is one of the funnier one.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write in Peaches and Paprika’s voices which comes naturally. They can say (meow) it much better than I can!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Gwen Cooper’s books about her various cats – mainly nonfiction – are among my favorite books. I also enjoy reading about current event and decorating beach homes (I just moved to a beach town in Connecticut)
What are you working on now?
I am working on an all inclusive “Celebrations” book called “Celebrating All Year Long. It features all the months of the year in one book as an alternative to purchasing the shorter mini-books.

Amazon and Facebook
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Enjoy your work. Read as many “how to” book or e-books as you can and extract those ideas which suit you the best.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Condense condense condense! Say it with less words. Once you’ve condensed, condense again!
What are you reading now?
Mainly current event books and books about seashells.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Two more Peaches & Paprika books – 1) cartoons 2) Memes. May are based on our Facebook page. After that, I will be putting together a humorous series based on my large waterfowl photography collection.
