Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Caroline Kingsbury was born in South West of England in 1976, and grew up in a rural village in Somerset. Educated at Goldsmiths College, University of London, Caroline returned to Somerset to bring up her children, and introduce them to all the places that she loved as a child.
Caroline states ” I love positive affirmations, as they can and do bring a difference to peoples lives”. Caroline passionately believes that thinking positively can help you to move forward from fear and negativity which can hold you back, and that you can learn to be a positive and happy person, fully of love and joy.
Caroline Kingsbury’s aim is to help people all over the world, to enjoy their lives, and to become happy and full of love at the core of themselves. “It is possible to live a happy fulfilled and successful life, and my passion is helping others to achieve happiness and success in your life”.
I have written over 20 books on Positive Affirmations, on all subjects, ranging from, love, happiness, success, happiness, confidence and anxiety, abundance, weight loss, health, healing, gratitude, kids, work and your career, and many more. What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book, Positive Affirmations for Weight Loss! Was inspired by my two pregnancies and the two sons that I have. It is very easy to put weight on, and much harder to loose it consistently and healthily, and to keep the weight off permanently.
When I successfully lost my excess weight and became slim, toned, healthy and fit as a result, I felt much better about myself and positive about my future. I realized that I could reach out and help others to achieve their weight loss goals, and this book is the result!
Losing weight is about attitude and persistence, as much as it is about eating less and exercising more. Positive Affirmations will give you the right mental framework for weight loss success, and are a crucial element to lasting success, and weight that stays off permanently!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to dictate when I write, and I go into a trance like state where I am very focused on what I am doing. I like to write either last thing at night or first thing in the morning, and I write for a couple of hours and then have a smoothie!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Many, so many! Deepak Chopra especially and his book of secrets.
What are you working on now?
I am writing more Positive Affirmations books on forgiveness, overcoming stress, and letting go, banishing fear and many more, all aimed at helping you to more forward and become truly successful in your life!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I promote using free submission sites, Twitter – I am at @KingsburyCarrie, and I do some promotion on Facebook, Google Plus and Pinterest. Amazon is great for additional self promotion, and I also have a YouTube channel.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write, and promote. Do the details well, and act with intention to succeed!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Get on with it! Simple really, and incredibly effective when I feel like procrastinating!

What’s next for you as a writer?
To keep writing! Any to enjoy writing new material. I shall branch out into new subject areas after Christmas, which is incredibly exciting.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, and Vallis by Phillip K Dick. I collect science fiction books and these two are the best of the best!
