Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Carolyn King specializes in writing dating advice, hoping to educate the couples out there on the meaning of love and how they can overcome their relationship issues with the correct mindset. Having listened and dealt with different couples previously on the kind of relationship issues they experienced, she decided it would be beneficial for couples to have a framework to work out various problems that arise in a romantic relationship. For now, she has written books titled – “How To Heal A Broken Heart,” “How To Know If He Is The Right Guy For You” and “Trust Issues – Build Everlasting Bonds Of Love With A 12 Day Strategy.”
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is “How To Heal A Broken Heart” which is current sold at major bookstores including Apple – https://books.apple.com/us/book/how-to-heal-a-broken-heart/id1483166909. It was inspired by my heartfelt desire to help people overcome a relationship split quickly and recover from their doldrums and grievances in good time. Many people tend to dwell on the past which is not healthy and may lead to depression and that’s something we would not want to see in others around us. Hence, I would love for others to get on their feet as fast as they can and move on in pursuit of a better life and new relationship goals if possible.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Well, I don’t think I have any quirky writing habits that are of peculiar interest to anyone. I just enjoy piecing information together in a straightforward and concise manner and delivering it to my readers in layman terms so that the gist of the material covered is easily absorbed and understood.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have really enjoyed reading Andre Garcia’s book about “Why Men Love Classy Chicks” which is quite inspiring in terms of helping women to level up their confidence and move away from men who are controlling their ability to think for themselves which is not really healthy in a relationship that’s supposed to work on mutual respect and reciprocal love. I have also been reading other relationship books which have been quite refreshing to me as their ideas may differ from mine, from time to time.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am taking a break from writing and searching for my next inspirational book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am a low profile person so I don’t actively promote my books. I prefer that people chance upon my books and become more well endowed in terms of knowledge about the dating world after reading my books.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just stick to your passion and write as much as you can, irregardless of what others may think of your writing.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Listen to your heart!
What are you reading now?
I am currently reading up on Regency novels to spice up the feel of romance which I may not get in real life. I see it as a way of rejuvenating myself. I also opt for nonfiction books at times when I need to improve my knowledge in certain areas.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Doing research on my next subject area if my inspiration arrives!
