About Caveman Kids And The Baby Mammoth by Peter Legrove
This book is the first book in the “Caveman Kids” series. Usually kids do things differently from adults. Whereas adults would have killed the mammoth to eat it, the kids befriended it and it ended up working for the clan. When the adults saw that the mammoth was making life easier they all loved it. The books are mainly about how kids see their world and what they can do to survive it. Their main adversary is Mother Nature and Mother Nature does turn against the clan quite regularly throughout the books.

Author Bio:
Peter LeGrove was always interested in archeology and how the caveman lived, as well as how we will survive the end of the world or the end of oil or the end of whatever. He spent the early part of his life teaching kids in Kindergarten and Primary School and that's where he started thinking about writing a book that kids would love to read. As he was a reading teacher his first book was about teaching kids to read and that evolved into writing books that kids could read and that is how the "Caveman Kids" series was born.
He has spent half his life as an "English as a Second Language" teacher in developing countries teaching the kids how to read and speak English. He loved it and was a very popular teacher as he never sat down in class and he is very active. He still runs around the park in the mornings and sometimes at lunch time so we can catch the suntan.
