Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Cecelia grew up in outback Australia. Living the life of a Gypsy as her foster parents travelled from station to station putting down bores.
Having been a teacher’s aide she has home-schooled her youngest two children throughout their entire school-life and has now taken the time to devote herself to her writing which she has dabbled in for many years.
While “Her Father’s Shadow” is her debut novel, she has several drafts already up her sleeve including the sequel to “Her Father’s Shadow”
She currently lives in Queensland, Australia with her two youngest children

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Her Father’s Shadow is my latest book which was inspired by a cryptic story my father wrote when I asked him to write his life story. He passed away in 1986 and sadly is no longer here to answer my many questions, so in his memory I have written this story.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I have to write everything otherwise I will forget it – names, backgrounds, places, plots etcetera.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Madeleine Brent is one of my favorites, because she/he intricately weaves the story line to keep you guessing. Alistair MacLan, Robert Ludlum, Dick Francis, Arthur Upfield the number is to large to count…
What are you working on now?
I am working on the sequel to Her Father’s Shadow and editing “The Jewel of Dulahrane” which is also the first book in another series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Still learning…
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just write! Work out your goals from the beginning start your marketing early.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write every day! At least 800 words…
