What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Tao of Creativity.
Seeing how creative people were naturally but unable to access it because of blocks put in place by schooling, work or own beliefs.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to write in total silence so I can hear myself think!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. I find it very ‘true’
What are you working on now?
My next book is ….”The Creative Mini MBA: Mastering Business and Innovation”
It is a guide that combines traditional business management principles with creativity and innovation strategies, offering a unique blend of business acumen and creative skills. This book is structured to help you understand the fundamentals of business while fostering the creative mindset needed to solve complex problems, lead innovative projects, and drive growth in competitive environments. It is an essential resource for aspiring entrepreneurs, leaders, and anyone looking to integrate creativity into their business practices.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t write a long first book. Mine is 300 plus pages. It makes formatting very hard and takes a long time to write!
Aim for 100 pages max.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Publish and be damned! Joking aside. Just do it. Stop talking, start typing and put it out there.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
1 – Tao Te Ching. For the spiritual energy
2 – Definitely a survival book. For the Base level of Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs
3 – Encyclopaedia Britannica. For Curiosity and learning.
4 – A big book of puzzles. For mental and emotional energy exercises.
5 – A book on Fitness and exercises. So I keep physically strong.
