Interview With Author Chase .
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
At the time of writing this I am 27 years old. I have recently taken a huge leap of faith with my wife and moved to another state very far from our family and friends.
I Died So You Don’t Have To is my first book, but I am working on a second and third book at the moment.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I Died So You Don’t Have To is my latest release. I drew most of my inspiration from my life experiences and always learning things the hard way. I wanted to bring a book to life that could help people that are facing similar situations to find their pure potential.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I find myself not able to stay in one place for the whole writing process. So chapter 1 could be written on the patio while chapter 2 was written in the office but then chapter 3 has to be written far from the house. I simply don’t have an answer to explain, its just the way my brain works.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Deepak Chopra, Paulo Coelho, David Goggins, Michael Singer, and Jen Sincero to name a few.
What are you working on now?
Currently working on the sequel to I Died So You Don’t Have To, which will be an autobiography of sorts. Basically, all the hard lessons I learned that lead to my spiritual journey and then my progression through that journey.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like to utilize every pathway. Free, paid and word of mouth. Awesome gang is a superb free choice with a solid paid option. Fiverr is great as long as the seller is reputable and word of mouth is in my opinion the best form of promoting anything.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just write. Get it all out now and sort it later.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago.
What are you reading now?
Rereading The Alchemist before I continue working on my books.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Hopefully some more great writing. Now that winter is dwindling away I’ll be spending more time in nature which is always a great way for me to get some writing done.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Alchemist cause its inspirational.
Chasers of the Light cause its poetic.
An original copy of Peter Pan cause its Peter Pan!
The army survival guide book cause Im not surviving without it!
