Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Cheryl and I LOVE to write! I’ve written over 100 books, fiction and non-fiction. One of my favorite genres is Amish fiction. I also enjoy writing with (and about) my dog, Joe. When I’m not writing, I enjoy splashing around in the lake or taking in the scenic mountains as I live in both Texas and Colorado. I adore spending time with my three young grandchildren.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“The Puppy Mill Murder: An Amish Dog Tale” is an inspirational mesh of my love for Amish culture and the continuing adventures of Joe.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Just like snuggling up to a good book, I “nestle in” to write. I also talk to myself.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Sidney Sheldon, Becky Freeman-Johnson and Max Lucado
What are you working on now?
I have three new books going. Two are ghostwritten. One is Joe’s next Amish adventure as the series will be a three-part.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Azle
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Just let your imagination flow without inhibition. There will be plenty of time to edit later on.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just write it!
