Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
As of this date (11/11/2019) I’ve written 8 books in the Science Fiction genre and 3 in Epic Fantasy that usually sells as a trilogy in one volume.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Abandonment of Stars is the title of the last book I released. It is part of the Symbiont Wars Saga (currently 8 stories long—though one of those is a novellette).
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Hmmm. I don’t know what usual is. 🙂
I tend to do the creative stuff first thing in the morning if possible.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Many authors. Octavia E. Butler is one of my favorite though.
What are you working on now?
I’ve started another story in the Symbiont Wars Saga with a tentative title of — We The Enemy. I’m also starting a “humorous” Sci-Fi novel. The working title for that is Escapists from Imagined Nations.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m hoping for great things from Awesome Gang! Mostly I use AMS ads after flogging Facebook and toying with BookBub.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Believe in your vision.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Look both ways before crossing the street!
What are you reading now?
The Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown.
What’s next for you as a writer?
The books mentioned above that I’m working on now. I tend to focus on what’s in front of me!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha (Spanish/English version) War and Peace, Anna Karenina, and the next book in the King Killer series (stolen from Patrick Rothfuss’ writing desk, since he may never finish it at this rate)
In short, the books I’d like to have read but keep getting distracted from and one that is still only a dream.
