About Civil Disobedience by Jude Carriker Gentry
The once quiet town of Trondheim, Norway has been shattered by the sounds of war. As the Nazi forces march through the streets one teacher, Aadne Melhues, struggles to understand the new and growing sentiments in his fellow Norwegians. It is as if his town has been divided, on one side of the street he sees the loyal Norwegians. On the other side he sees the Nazi sympathizers. As he tries to determine which side of the street to walk his own family down, he is washed up in the Nazi sweep of teachers and it doesn’t take long for him to choose sides.
Civil Disobedience is based on true events, sometimes history is more incredible that fiction. This book is both.

Author Bio:
I grew up in a big family in a small town. The 7th child in a family of 8, my youth was spent climbing hills and inventing stories for games of make believe with my friends. I have always loved words, maybe a little too much, and history. While most of my books are children's books written for grand children and a home-school co-op, my young adult books are an even mix between Christian Romance, Historical Drama, and Science Fiction. The historical books are my favorite to write because I am always ready to research a new topic. I have a few graphic novels based on events in American history.
My husband and I had 76 foster children (42 teenagers) while he spent 35 years in the army. All of this has given me a lot of mental fodder to transform into my books so there is a lot of variety to choose from.
