No one begins life as a teenager. So why can’t Pete Neper remember his childhood?
His family attended St. Anthony’s church in Florida. So why is the Old German Baptist meeting house—in Ohio, where his high school friend attended—the only one he can remember?
Is he crazy like his father the man who killed his mother years ago and recently killed his best friend?
While Pete hunts for his elusive memories, Danni Wagoner, his best friend’s widow still seeks for closure a year after she buried her husband.
Much as he wants to comfort this widow and her child—unless Pete can forgive his father, he will not be free to love or protect either of them properly.

Author Bio:
Awesomegang: You write Christian Fiction, Do you have a favorite spiritual theme?
Sharon: The time is short and most Christian writers want to be a part of the movement to make the world around us aware that Jesus loves them and that He died for them. Billy Graham is the most famous Evangelist alive in our day. And all of his teams encourage each person—who confesses his or her need of a savior—to find a local church to bond and grow with. A group to be accountable to on the Christian journey.
I believe the most important relationship is the one we can have with our Lord Jesus Christ. In my stories, I learn and relearn this principle right along with my characters.
Awesome Gang: How much research do you have to do for the genre in which you write?
Way more than I ever thought I would. The sad thing is, as hard as I try to outline before I write a story I can only get so far. Then I hear the voices and I have to capture them immediately. Next, my characters do something I would have never expected and suddenly I have to find out what would logically happen to a character who tried such a thing.
My characters quit talking until I figure out something reasonable. And I have writers block until I do the research.
Awesome Gang: What is your go-to research when you’re writing? A specific book? A website? An individual?
I inherited my father’s love of the written word and have acquired over 100 books on the writing craft in general and on specific topics that interest me. I have saved every writing magazine I ever owned. And now with the internet available, I belong to ACFW and other online writing groups. Google is my friend!
Awesome Gang: Are you writing another book? Can you tell us about it?
The book I am writing now is called Unexpected Complications, book four in the Forgiving the Unforgivable series.
Watch for it. The characters in previous books keep digging up more information that throws a kink in the lives of the main characters in the Forgiving The Unforgivable series,
