Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written 5 books – all in the Instinctive Living self development book series.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book in the series is ‘Gratitude Amplified: Transformational Ways To Magnify Success And Harness The Power Of Attraction’.
I was inspired to write it because I often see a lot of unnecessary barriers to entry for people wanting to develop themselves and their spirituality.
I also wanted to identify the important relationship between gratitude and attraction.
I am a big fan of the law of attraction, however many of us misunderstand it, and as a result, we push what we want further away from ourselves.
I also wanted to focus more on the energy and less about the matter that seems to matter to many of us.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not sure if they are unusual, but I do like to get myself prepared by thinking and reflecting on my book/s before I write them. I focus on the topics at hand and work from there.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I mostly read non fiction. Most recent book was Tom Campbells ‘My Big Toe. Wonderful book.
And a man who ticks all the boxes re the blending of science and consciousness.
I tend to read books that find me – books that I have been guided towards so to speak.
I have never really had a lot of authors I read a lot of books from, but Dr Wayne Dyer, Robert A Monroe, Stuart Wilde, Gary Zukav, and the Dalai Lama, come to mind re reading one or two books from the same authors.
I’m more influenced by guidance and what books happen to present themselves to me.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on more books in my Instinctive Living self development book series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I think Amazon is wonderful.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice would be more from the position of being a life coach:
Write what you love and what inspires you. Deep inside of you, you have a message or three that you can share with the world….or at the very least share with yourself.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“The best advice isn’t always the best advice…”
What are you reading now?
For the moment it’s my books!
What’s next for you as a writer?
More writing and promotion.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Probably really big ones.
Since I recently read it, I would say ‘My Big Toe’ would be one.
A couple of ancient spiritual texts (the usual suspects) might be a good choice.
And an extensive survival guide.
