About Cross Winds: Adventure and Entrepreneurship in the Russian Far East
A passionate businessman. A dangerous mission. Will he risk his life to chase his dreams?
A remarkable, true story!
In a daring, high-stakes mission in post-Cold War Russia, American pilot and businessman Steven Myers accepts the invitation of Russian leaders to explore entrepreneurial possibilities in a foreign land. What he finds there are danger and challenges beyond his wildest dreams. Pitted against a failed system and a harsh climate, Myers clings to the optimism he learned in a near-fatal mountain climbing accident from his youth.
This is a story about the clash of cultures, the healing of a land, and the miracles that can happen when unlikely partners come together for a common cause. It’s the story of what happens when courage and optimism face off against system collapse and fear.
It’s a story you’ll never forget.
