Author Bio:
Courtney grew up as an avid reader. If there was the opportunity there was a book in her hands and her nose happily buried in it. Obsessed as a young teen she grew up on the fantasy adventures of Anne McCaffery’s Pern, DragonLance Novels, and Wheel of Time. Fantasy worlds were an excuse to dream of vast landscapes, flawed heroes, and nothing in perfect black and white. Dreams of soul deep romance, the kind where a true partnership was formed as each propped the other up lead her to finding her spouse.
A native of the varied and stunning Pacific Northwest, with access to the Pacific’s rocky and untamed waves, the plateau desserts, hot springs, and the friendly backyard volcano, she grew up learning to fish, enjoy the peace of nature, the simple joys of getting dirty and losing your thoughts to whimsy. Currently Courtney lives in rural Western North Carolina with her beloved husband, two adorable children, dogs, and a small but gregarious flock of chickens.
