Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love to write, sing and work evangelistic and outreach ministry. I studied and graduated from the Writers Bureau with a diploma in Creative Writing. I’ve been writing since a teenager, but grew more into it while studying at the Writers Bureau from 2011 – 2014. I write poems, songs, articles and inspirational writtings. I’ve written for both local and overseas publications. I’ve written and published three books titled: Poems From The Heart, Inspiring Moments, Resilient: Rise Above the Ashes.
BIO: Crystal Holdipp is a multi – gifted young woman from the island of Bermuda. She is a singer, writer, songwriter, and church leader. Currently she is a soloist at CORE Ministries and has previously worked as a Director in Children’s Church for about 8 + years. Crystal has a true love for singing and sang her first solo at the very young age of 4 years old at her preschool graduation. She has recorded in the studio with Pastor John Woolridge and a door opened for the recording to be played on FM 105.1 in Bermuda. Opportunities to sing overseas have opened up for her a couple of times. She has sung internationally in both Cleveland, Ohio at a Family Reunion Talent Show and in Atlanta, Georgia at Last Days Church of God at their Bishop’s Anniversary church service. Crystal won the Most Promising Performer cast award from Gina Spence Productions in Christ as a debut in a small acting part in the musical “A figure Of Speech 2009”. Crystal express her thoughts, feelings, what’s on her mind or what comes to her mind through writing and enjoys creative writing. She has written and published her first inspirational book ‘Poems From The Heart’ has published a second book, a devotional titled ‘Inspiring Moments: Encouragement for the Soul’ and now has a third book titled ‘RESILIENT: Rise Above the Ashes’. Crystal has a heart for outreach ministry and helping those in need. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28. Crystal desires to be all that God has called her to be and to walk in her destiny!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
RESILIENT: Rise Above the Ashes
My life experiences and how they pushed me to rise above. I’ve experienced learning struggles throughout my formal education, being a learning support student from primary school all the way to college. Also, I was diagnosed with a learning disability while attending college and going to an educational psychologist. Some other experiences such as going through depression, anxiety, coming from a low income family and never having a steady job and I’m a young adult.

What are you working on now?
Currently I’m just marketing my new book, organizing book events and considering other ministry and business opportunities.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Building relationships, word of mouth and my blog and online presence.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing and take your time and try different ways to market and get your writing out there. Stay active and knowledgeable with what’s going on in the writing industry.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep pushing and getting your writing out there. My reward is in heaven.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Hopefully I’m able to expand and grow in the writing industry and possibly start a business with my writing.

Bible, Jesus Calling, and any John Bevere book.
