About Dancing Bean: The Boy Who Loves Ballet by Nicola J Moore
Bean is different, but he doesn’t mind.
Little dance fans will delight in this illustrated children’s book about a boy who doesn’t let the reactions of others stop him from following his dream.
Bean isn’t like the other boys in his class; he doesn’t want to be a footballer or an astronaut. Bean dreams of being a ballet dancer. When the other children laugh at him for being different, Bean doesn’t get upset or change to fit in. He holds his head high and stays true to himself.
This heart-warming picture book demonstrates to boys and girls that it is ok to be different and that often the first step to being accepted by others is accepting yourself.
