Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am Chairman of Carbon Engineering, a company dedicated to removing CO2 from the air to aid in solving climate change. Until 2016 I was, for 20 years, the CEO of a global communications and information company. I am professional engineer with a master’s degree in engineering physics, and also a long-time student of religion. I have e published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers on industry topics, along with four science and religion books. My work on reconciling the biblical account and scientific observation has been reported in magazines, newspapers, television, conferences and radio.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is The Biblical Clock. Readers and media suggested I work on a much more engaging, entertaining, narrative style book that told the story of discovery of all the information, while at the same time explain the key discoveries. I teamed up with an award winning writer to produce this book. As well, my nephews questions about how we came to be inspired me.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to get the core of the book down on paper in several weeks working almost full time on it. then write a few hours a day to finish it of while i research my next book.

What are you working on now?
I am working on a book on the first second of the universe: what happened and why we have the universe we do.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like to write articles, be interviewed, seminars and talks, and purchase click ads.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
To keep writing constantly and listen to feedback.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
To be the best at your craft keep writing all the time.
What are you reading now?
I am reading the Bible.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I am focused on my next book that talks about the first second of the universe and why the universe looks the way it does.
