Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a writer, speaker, blogger, and the founder of Anakainoo International. My passion is to help you and those who are frustrated with what religion has to offer and show you how to have face-to-face encounters with God every day to experience an abundant life where signs, wonders, and miracles become an everyday normal experience for you. It is my desire to help pursuers of God discover how to have a real tangible relationship with God and follow Him everywhere, just like Jesus did. Then you can experience all the wonders and miracles from Heaven following you and fulfill all the desires of your heart.
I have written several books including: The Supernatural Wave of God’s Presence; Does God Want You to Be Rich?; Tearing Down Weak Foundations that Hinder You; and Become Like Little Children. I have a Master’s of Ministry Degree and a Business Degree with over thirty-five years’ experience in business and ministry which included owning two very successful accounting businesses.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Supernatural Wave of God’s Presence: You Can Experience Miracles Every Day by Pursuing God’s Presence. After 30 years of ministering in the Church, I realized I wanted more than what the Church experience had to offer. I wanted to do the miracles that Jesus did and even greater things. I discovered that the reason why Jesus was able to perform such great miracles every day was not because He used His abilities as God but rather that He followed and did everything God the Father was doing and saying. Jesus wanted to show us that any child of God could do what He did. I tested this out and started pursuing God everywhere following everything He told me to do. One of my first experiences was when I spoke at a Church and asked anyone who needed prayer to meet me after the service. Just about everyone accepted my offer for healing and restoration. About eighty people came forward to receive healing and everyone got healed miraculously – just as Jesus did. Since then it has been my every day normal experience to expect the miraculous when I follow God’s lead all the time. I want to show as many people as possible how they can do the things Jesus did and even greater things and how to hear God’s voice clearly so they can follow Him everywhere.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write from my passion and experiences. After about a year or so of hearing and following God’s voice, I like to write about the new truths I have discovered so that others can experience the same things I am experiencing to have a dynamic tangible relationship with the Father (God).
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Bill Johnson, Randy Clark, Heidi & Rolland Baker, Dr. Rice’s book on Prayer
What are you working on now?
There Are No Bibles In Heaven – Have you ever thought about what it was like in Heaven? This book will first take you on a journey to Heaven through other’s near death experiences to see what your relationship with God is going to be like. Then you will continue your journey through time to see that God has always wanted to have a close personal relationship with all His children. But in the 4th century, that kind of relationship was hindered greatly. This book is about having the same kind of relationship with God here on earth that we will in Heaven and the reason why most do not experience that kind of intimacy with the Father. It will hopefully be available some time early next year in 2020.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I follow a lot of Dave Chesson’s advise on Kindlepreneur.com. I focus mostly on Amazon Marketing, using social media (facebook, twitter, instagram), as well as putting my book on as many free or low cost book promoter sites as possible (Kindlepreneur.com has a great list of Free and Paid Book promotion sites).
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Never give up on your passion and write what you love. Your writing will always be much deeper and your readers want to read more of your books. Understand your audience, yes. But, don’t dilute your writing so much to appeal to the masses that it becomes empty without very little substance. It would be better to narrow your niche close to your passions and your readers will respond in kind.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
My mom often said, “Do whatever Jesus tells you to do.” She was referring to the time when Jesus was at a wedding and they ran out of wine to serve. Mary, His mom, asked Jesus to help get more wine. Then she turned to the servers and said, “Do whatever He tells you to do.” I think the best part of this story was not that Jesus turned water into wine but that the servants personally participated in this miraculous event. It happened only because they did exactly what Jesus told them to do even though his instructions seemed absurd.
What are you reading now?
Many books on the history of the early Church especially in the first three centuries of Christianity.
What’s next for you as a writer?
To publish all my books and Amazon and other places, and to finish the book I am working. It could potentially have a dramatic impact on how many people relate to God.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Many blank journals and enough pens to make sure I write down everything God wants to tell me.
