Author Bio:
Walter Bishop moved to Eritrea at the age of four, then to Sweden until the age of eight. He then grew up in New York where he has lived all his life. Bishop is the youngest child of six siblings and is now a father of two. He has always been curious about brain develop‐ ment and human behavior, starting from his teen years when his father developed dementia. The author saw how the whole family helped to take care of his father.
Considering that dementia can be inherited, Bishop actively sought knowledge on how he can counteract or delay the process and effects of the aging brain so that he would be independent for as long as possible and avoid burdening his family to the greatest extent. His knowledge and experience in the area make him an authority on the subject of maintaining an aging brain and he wants to share what he knows with others who can benefit from it. Bishop has a practical testimony that the nuggets that are given in this book do work because they have contributed to notable changes in his
life. What he has discovered is that the preventive work done on the brain has a long-lasting effect later in life.
Bishop wants to share his knowledge on brain develop‐ ment and human behavior with readers who need the information. He hopes this book can help the readers have a healthier outlook on life.
