About Delusional Madness by Kimberly K. Taylor
Delusional Madness is a haunting historical novel set in a 19th-century Ohio asylum where the line between sanity and madness blurs with each turn of the page. The story follows Cassie, a young woman committed under questionable circumstances, as she navigates the brutal realities of institutional life. Through her eyes—and the forgotten voices of fellow patients—we witness the cruelty, neglect, and chilling truths buried inside the asylum’s walls.
This is more than a tale of survival; it’s a powerful exploration of injustice, resilience, and the desperate fight to be seen and heard in a world eager to silence the most vulnerable. Gripping and emotionally raw, Delusional Madness lifts the veil on a shameful chapter of history too often overlooked.

Author Bio:
Kimberly K. Taylor is a special needs educator, mental health advocate, and debut author whose passion lies in giving voice to those the world has too often ignored—especially the forgotten, the silenced, and the misunderstood. Drawing on her own decades-long battle with depression and the legacy of her father's time in a mental institution, Kimberly’s writing is deeply rooted in empathy, truth, and historical awareness.
Her debut novel, Delusional Madness, is inspired by real-life horrors from 19th-century asylums and her desire to shed light on the injustices faced by women labeled as "mad."
Kimberly lives in southern Ohio with her husband and blended family of six children. When she’s not writing, she enjoys camping, traveling, teaching, and spending time with her family. She also writes children’s books that promote understanding of disabilities and celebrate the beauty in every child.
