Author Bio:
Renee Phillippi has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Working in skilled nursing facilities, home health and hospice as well as with psychiatrists and clinical researchers, Renee has developed a deep understanding of the role of caregivers. When Renee’s parents were ill, she wasn’t aware of the vast array of services that were available that would have helped her and her family tremendously. Simply put, she didnt’ know, what she didn’t know.
Most caregivers come to this role unexpectedly and suddenly and many don’t know what questions to ask or if they do have questions, don’t know who to ask? Renee has a passion for helping others find the answers because she’s been there herself. Her experience in the healthcare industry has helped her understand the challenges, guilt and grief that caregivers experience. That combined with her passion for helping others is what drives her.
