Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an award-winning Author and life voyager who strives to inspire conscious living and conscious dialogue. I’ve published 6 books and will publish the 7th, “Messages From Metatron: A Course in Self-Transformation” in January 2020. I will publish it’s sequel, “Ten Angels Teach You How To Live An Inspired Life” in the later half of 2020. In 2021 I will publish the third of the angel series, “Archangel Raphael’s Big Book of Healing.”
Before I started channeling angels I had a regular life! I’ve earned an AA in Psychology, a BA in Applied Psychology, and completed my MS in Mental Health Counseling program. I am also a master-level Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Certified Sound Therapist. I’m a member of the International Alliance of Holistic Therapists and have been in private practice for 16 years. I live with my dog and can be found paddling my kayak on Arizona lakes where he serves as the fearless captain.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“Messages From Metatron: A Course in Self-Transformation” is my first channeled book, so because an Archangel dictated it, I’m going to have to say that it was inspired by Archangel Metatron. I know that sounds impossible, I can hardly believe I’m saying that! I had no clue what was in store for me until the messages started arriving in the middle of the night. I’d drag myself out of a sound sleep, brew a strong pot of coffee, and settle in to write. I received 30 messages over the course of 3 year’s time. I then added a study guide for individuals or groups so these angelic messages can be applied to everyday life.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Obviously, channeling is in itself unusual; few people have that gift, what is clairaudience, or the ability to hear the spirit world. I’ve never seen an angel like some people can, and I don’t see people’s auras, either. But like a psychic does, I hear messages from the Other Side clear as a bell. Often, that bell awakens me out of a dead sleep in the middle of the night. Channeling in this way, what could be termed nocturnal channeling, is quite unusual, even for psychics.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The late world-renowned psychic Sylvia Browne’s books have influenced me the most. I’ve read every book she wrote, because it fascinated me how she could pull such detailed information out of the ethers, and how she did it so nonchalantly like it was second-nature to her. It wouldn’t be until years after Sylvia passed that I began receiving information from the Other Side. And by the way, according to my source’s information, Sylvia was right most of the time.
What are you working on now?
The sequel to “Messages From Metatron” is “Ten Angels Teach You How To Live An Inspired Life.” It is also channeled but is much shorter in length than “Messages From Metatron” which is a combined book and study guide. This second angel book features the inspiring and uplifting messages of ten Archangels, including St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and Archangel Raphael.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t quit your day job! Being an author sounds glamorous, but it actually requires a lot of elbow grease, a ton of perseverance, and a boatload of time. It is a labor of love because there are so few books that make it to the top of the book heap. Writing hardly pays. I’m not saying it’s impossible to write a best-seller, but the competition has gotten mighty steep. View it as a side job that you do because you must write, a glorified hobby-and when you retire, you can devote all your spare time to it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Best writing advice came from my publisher, and she said: “You don’t have to be the best technical writer but write bravely.” In other words, don’t be afraid to bare your soul for the world to see. Write as if you were talking to your most trusted friend and let the audience into your inner world, completely. Publishers can fix sloppy grammar and even disorderly writing, but they cannot dig into your soul and bring up that writing gold for you. I learned not to hide behind the words-instead, be the words.
What are you reading now?
I am re-reading a trilogy by Rebecca Wells, author of, “Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.” My favorite book is the first in that series entitled, “Little Altars Everywhere.” It’s a delightful romp through the memories of childhood as told through the eyes of different children of the same Southern plantation family.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I would have never imagined I’d be channeling books (much less a series of books), so I’m hesitant to say what’s on the horizon. But if my series of angel books do well, I can imagine there are many more characters in the Universe who might step up to the plate and have a crack at authoring a book in this unconventional way. The angels picked me, I didn’t pick them, so any future channeled books will likely happen the same way these did: by surprising me in a spontaneous fashion, and inconveniently!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I’m a Hindu, so I would take Hindu scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita to keep my spirits up and to remind me that life is short and to be enjoyed, whatever the circumstances. I believe that’s all I’d really need.
