About DeWulf’s Twins
The DeWulf twins, Logan and Alex are on a sea cruise doing a photoshoot. When not actually working they try to break away so they can engage in activities more interesting than trying on another set of clothes. These activities include a foray into the bowels of the ship where they find technology that too advanced to exist.
Before their explorations can go any further they are abducted while receiving treatment in the cruise ship’s spa. With fellow passenger Kelsey “David” Gorman as a witness they are paralyzed and taken away to a spaceship hovering next to the cruise ship. The strangest part is that their abductors are not aliens but appear to be ordinary humans!
David follows the mysterious abductors through the cruise ship and onto their waiting spaceship, a void jammer named the Alba Varden, that is hovering alongside. Once the twins are secured in stasis with other abductees the leader, a eight foot tall blue human named Janus flies the ship out into space and onto a secret rendezvous with their organization. During a stopover in the Yardang system they encounter a Hegemony corvette, the Jester’s Sorrow that is hosting an excursion to the planet’s surface. Upon detecting the Alba Varden, the commander of the Jester’s Sorrow pursues and boards the void jammer before it can recharge its dimensional displacement drive and flee.
Utilizing the abilities of two of the abducted humans Janus and his fellow conspirators make good their escape. After arriving on the planet Pacifica their plans start to go awry when David releases Logan then Alex from stasis. They manage to overpower the ship’s crew and leave the ship with a bioroid named Percival.
While getting a meal Percival tries in vain to convince the twins to return to the void jammer. He informs them that what they think of as home is completely fake and that the real Earth was destroyed thousands of years ago. All three humans refuse to listen and demand to find some way to get home. While looking for a meal made with real meat they happen upon a wet market where they decide to rescue a strange animal with a beak and blue fur. Naming it Otter they decide to seek out a wealthy man who is in the market to purchase a computer core with the location of their home in its memory.
With the Hegemony and others hot on their trail they stowaway on an illegal seafood harvester and then steal one of their auxiliary craft to make their way to the estate of a trillionaire Archibald Sosnowski. Once there they try to hijack his void jammer, the Skein Dancer only to be caught by him. After capturing them he offers them a deal to help him acquire the computer core at an auction on the planet Olympus.
Attending the auction on Olympus Sosnowski reveals his real plan, he has the twins steal the computer core. They manage to regroup on the Skein Dancer only to have the conspiracy catch up and take all of them prisoner. As the conspiracy secures the twins for their fate the computer core now installed in a robot body activates. The computer who’s name is Sundog intervenes rescuing the twins. He agrees to take them back home but under one condition, they must go to the planet Eden to retrieve his true body.
The twins reluctantly agree but on the way to Eden they are intercepted by the Hegemony who steal everyone’s minds except for the twins who in turn unleash their antipsionic powers allowing them to escape to Eden. Before they get there the Hegemony sends the Steel Stallion Clan to intercept them who cut the Skein Dancer in half causing to crash on Eden.
Separated during the crash Logan and Alex make their separate ways to their goal. Alex continues with Sundog while Logan continues with a mysterious man named Basilius and his robot steed Fulghum who rescued her from the Panther Corps another clan looking for the twins. Arriving at the bone yard Alex and company start the arduous task of locating Sundog’s body, the Twilight Vanish. During this time the Seraphim, a clan of winged parahumans arrive and attack Sundog. Clan Steel Stallion arrives and drives away the Seraphim only to be attacked by Alex while piloting an abandoned mecha. She too is defeated and taken prisoner only to be taken by the conspiracy again.
Basilius leads Logan down into a labyrinth of tunnels seeking out a secret weapon that was under development. Just as they locate the nemesis suit the Panther Corps attacks killing Basilius and severely damaging Fulghum. He instructs her on how to transfer him to the nemesis suit.
Logan and company catch the Steel Stallions during the aftermath of their battle with the Seraphim and cuts them down. She finds David who informs her that Alex has been taken then they find Sundog who they then install in Twilight Vanish. Upon powering up they take off in pursuit of the Conspiracy with the Seraphim hot on their heels.
They arrive just as the conspirators are leaving. Forced to fight both the conspiracy and the Seraphim Logan and company are delayed while the conspiracy’s void jammer escapes. Finally defeating all of their opponents Twilight Vanish pursues the conspiracy into orbit but run out of fuel. In a last-ditch effort Logan dons a skein suit and boards the void jammer. Aboard the Conspiracy’s void jammer, they go about removing Alex’s brain.
Getting aboard the void jammer Logan makes her way to the cargo hold where it is revealed that her sister’s brain has been removed. While distracted they subdue her but before they can start the procedure Otter reveals himself and destroys the void jammer’s controls crippling the critical systems.
Twilight Vanish arrives only to find the clans are there as well then the Dead Legion void jammers appear complicating the situation. In desperation Alex’s brain is connected to the void jammers systems and in turn makes their escape.
The leader of the Dead Legions watches from his lair and orders his minions to pursue the twins.

Author Bio:
Born and raised in Washington State I have a BS in geology from Washington State University and I work as a soils engineer monitoring construction sites to ensure that all building are resting on solid ground. I have enjoyed reading science fiction all my life, so I decided to start writing books myself. kind of ironic since I hated writing while in school. I choose my pen name Ulysses Namon from the movie starring Kirk Douglas, Namon is “no man” spelled backwards.
