Author Bio:
I’m a midwesterner and New Englander turned snowbird, a chemical engineer turned writer, blogger and book reviewer, a cautiously optimistic cancer survivor, animal lover, first mate to my captain, ex-golfer, frizzy-haired, over-the-top dog-mom, sister, daughter, devoted friend, and committed wife with ‘steps’. I’m a Jesus-loving seasoned sinner.
My writing journey looks like a two-year-old’s scribble, but it finally led me to write for Jesus, beginning with my Christian blog “FindingGodAmongUs.” My most recent book title is Seeking Jesus in the Gospel of Luke – a 100-day devotional journey, which is a complement to Divine Wisdom – Life Lessons from the Parables of Jesus. Divine Wisdom was inspired by my blog audience who showed great interest in learning more about how the parables of Jesus apply to our lives today.
Christian devotionals, Christian children’s books, and Christian book reviews round out my portfolio.
During the zigs and zags of my writing journey, I penned inspiring, true adult and children’s books, beginning with my LEMONS TO LEMONADE Series about amazing women and their noble work.
‘A Healing Haven’ is an amazing testament to the healing power of love and it shines a spotlight on a worthy organization pulling out all the stops to save animals in need.
‘Hope in the Hood’ is the raw and inspiring account of Colleen Adams on her journey to offer hope and help to inner-city youth who are almost certain to end up as career criminals without her intervention.
In 2016, real-life Dominick the donkey sparked a children’s 2-part book series, based on actual people, animals, and events at RVR Horse Rescue. ‘A New Home for Dominick’ opened the series and the sequel, ‘A New Family for Dominick’ followed. ‘A New Friend for Gilbert’ and ‘Heaven is Better’ came to life in 2019.
