Gemaine Owen, MD is a family physician with a private practice in St Croix, United States Virgin Islands. Dr Owen has been writing poetry since childhood and went on to pursue both science and humanities courses while at Johns Hopkins University. Back home, she is privileged to perform home visits, office visits and consultations for cancer patients. In her free time, she loves to read so when not working, look for her under an avalanche of books!
