About Dog Days in Italy: How I Became An Expat Dog by Maree Cemini Church
Meet Dino, one crazy California dog, and journey with him to Le Marche, Italy where this story unfolds. At times pure dog, but often so much more, Dino recounts his folks travels and trials and tribulations living in a land where their language skills were inadequate and their misconceptions about the country often proved disastrous. On this madcap journey, Dino is besieged by Mom who thinks she knows best, bewildered by the absurdities of English and human behavior, but totally secure in his often irreverent opinions about life and human kind. This is a laugh-out-loud romp through the land of pasta and pizza told with wit, a dash of sarcasm, and an overabundance of poetic license.
