I am currently a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal.
I have worked as a medical doctor, consultant, public health specialist, professor, and researcher. My work has taken him to Africa and Haiti.
I also nurture my spiritual side and help others on their spiritual journeys. I believe in a holistic approach to improving everyone’s quality of life. I like to travel the world, discover new cultures, meet new people, and expand awareness and light around the globe.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The title of my last book is: “How to Improve the Quality of Your Life? A Comprehensive Approach and Guide to Well-Being”
The inspiration for this book is a long story. Since I was a child, I always have the deep desire to help other people. That is why I have studied medicine so I could help other and alleviate the suffering of other people on this planet. The idea of this book takes shape during my Ph.D. study at the University of Montreal, Canada.
This model reflects my whole-life philosophy and belief systems. But it only materializes between 2008 and 2010 during my Ph.D. study at the University of Montreal, Canada. I am so grateful to my professors Claude Sicotte, Francois Champagne, Lambert Farand, Francois Beland, and Marie-Pascale Pomey for introducing me to the Talcott Parsons social action theory and the Health System Integrated Evaluation Framework. In life, if you want to be great, surround yourself with great people. Sir Isaac Newton, a British physicist, wrote: “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” This refers to the fact that in science, philosophy, or literature, we do not start from scratch but build our system on previous discoveries. I have lifted from my Professor Claude Sicotte the model on which to develop this revolutionary framework. The comprehensive approach I present to you is an innovation of my own. I combine in a unique way the scientific and the spiritual in order to help people change and thrive in life.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
This question surprises me. I do not think about it. I could say that when writing this book, I feel the necessity to focus and dedicated time, passion, and love for the writing process. Sometimes, I used to sleep with a pen, a notebook, and a flashlight under my pillow. During the night, if an idea pops up in my mind, I wake up and write it on the notebook.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Many authors inspired me: Professor Claude Sicotte, Francois Champagne, Claude Beland, Lambert Farand. I also read Talcott Parsons. But I could say that God and his spirit guide me during the whole writing process. I even think that the process of writing this book was in itself a spiritual experience for me.
What are you working on now?
Now, I focus on research and humanitarians’ activities. I am writing a scientific paper that will be published soon.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I think that www.awesomegang.com is by far the best. I really love their professionalism and the way they are constantly innovating to satisfy their clients.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I would really advice new author to love what they are doing and develop their writing skills at the same time. New authors need to anticipate potential obstacles that could occur during the writing process and have a plan to deal with them. Sometimes we could feel that the task is overwhelmed but the passion and the dream will keep pushing us to the end of the process.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”
(Lao-Tzu)
What are you reading now?
I am reading Charles Schwab’s Guide to Financial Independence.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will collect feedback on this new book and will work on a version 2.0 next year.
