Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Dwayne and Bike Camp Cookbook is my first official book. I wrote it to give back to bike tourist, hikers, campers and people who want to eat healthy meals while out on short or extended trips. Im passionate about cycling and have been for 11 years now. I raced competitively and travel by bike as often as I can. I’m a photographer who’s always up for an adventure and a great film.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is called Bike Camp Cookbook. It was inspired after cycling across country in 2014 from New York to California. I was in the midst of a lifestyle change and wanted to eat healthier foods. I’ve always been a huge foodie and enjoy home cooking. I began transitioning my style of cooking outdoors and when this trip began I did the same.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I often go into tangents easily and give full detail I’ve been told. That is normal for a writer right?
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Collapse by Jared Diamond, Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazi.
What are you working on now?
Planing travel and vision questing.

Well I’m new myself so I would say to write what your passionate about.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I’d like to write my second book I’ve been wanting to do for some time now. More on that later. Travel is huge for me so I’m planing another bike touring trip.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Alchemist because it’s light and small, perhaps some kind of how to identify wild plants book, Robert Capa Slightly Out Of Focus, Journal.
