This adventure begins when Army Captain John Terry hires P.I. Jack Campbell to investigate his wife, an Air Force Captain. However, After Army Captain John Terry abruptly calls to drop the case, a month later, Daniel, Jack’s boss and best friend, is shot. At the hospital, Jack and Becky, Daniel’s wife, meet Mary Rogers from the State Department, leading them to suspect that the Terrys’ case may be connected to Daniel’s shooting.
Jack also learned that he and Becky have been plunged into the middle of an international espionage ring investigation. The spies are uncovered with the help of three interesting women, on this complex, mysterious, and dangerous journey.
Adding intrigue, Becky Draper’s involvement takes a surprising turn as her past project endangers everyone’s lives. Mary Rogers, the enigmatic State Department liaison, is suspected of involvement in the spy ring, adding complexity to the investigation as her motives remain unclear.
Adding to the mystery is Jack’s new girlfriend, Marie Cates. An explosion at the Draper’s home reveals Marie’s connection to Jack is no coincidence, deepening the investigation’s intrigue. As the team delves deeper, they uncover suspicions of infiltrators in various government agencies, suggesting a threat to our nation’s security by an unknown foreign power.
