Author Bio:
The influence of rural life radiates throughout J. K. Grueber’s novels since she was born and raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. Even though she lived within spitting distance of Pittsburgh, most of her escapades involved farm country and horses—a lifestyle she continues to embrace. Presently, she and her husband, Steve, live on a small horse farm in Northeast Ohio, where she tends to twenty-plus Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds along with two Great Pyrenees, a dozen ducks, two dwarf goats, and a plethora of cats. She divides her time between writing paranormal mysteries (with a heavy dose of intrigue) and breeding, training, and racing Thoroughbreds (which has shaped the twists and turns in a few tales.)
