Interview With Author Elaine Chasey
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Cooking has been my passion since my childhood. When I was five years old, I loved to help my grandma bake cookies. At the age of 10, I baked my first apple pie. When I turned 16, I could serve a delicious dinner for my family.
And then, my passion turned to my career. I became a chef in one of the restaurants in my hometown. And recently I published my first cookbook. I love to share my recipes with other people.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
For now I have one cookbook published – “Keto Chicken Recipes : 50 Easy and Delicious Ketogenic Diet Recipes.” I want my recipes be not just delicious but also healthy. That’s why I decided to create a cookbook of keto recipes. I love this diet myself!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
When I eat my favorite cherry and chocolate ice cream, I usually have new ideas for my new recipes.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I am a big fan of Julia Child.
What are you working on now?
Right now I am working on some delicious recipes for my new cookbook.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Just be brave and don’t limit yourself!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep trying
What are you reading now?
I am fond of reading ancient myths and legends. Right now I am reading Slavic myths.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I think about creating a Facebook community for people to love cooking and sharing yummy recipes.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
