Interview With Author Ephraim Clark
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was raised in the United States. After I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame, the lure of travel and adventure trumped the pressure to settle down and put my nose to the grindstone. This wanderlust itinerary took me from Latin America to the UK and Europe, earning my way as a karate instructor, night club bouncer, pop singer, and recording artist. I have post graduate degrees from the University of Madrid and the University of Paris, where I obtained my PhD in Financial Economics Summa cum Laude. After a few years as a financial forecaster and country risk analyst, I turned to academia in France as a full professor in Finance. During my academic career, I authored or co-authored nine books and over one hundred papers in top academic and professional journals. Now I’m writing spy thrillers and, between consulting contracts, spend my time with my wife traveling around Europe. Some things never change. I started writing spy thrillers four years ago. Two have been published and the other three are scheduled for publication over the next year.
