Interview With Author Eric Bob
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Eric Bob, a purpose-driven author passionate about helping people unlock personal growth and deeper relationships. I’ve written several impactful books on mindset, emotional freedom, and human connection—each one designed to guide readers toward a more fulfilled life.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is The Let Them Approach: A Revolutionary Concept for Personal Growth and Relationships. It was inspired by real-life challenges where I saw how powerful it can be to release control and allow people to be who they are. That one shift can spark freedom, trust, and lasting transformation.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes—I write best in quiet moments just after sunrise. I like to journal freely before typing anything formal. It clears my thoughts and often reveals the core message of what I really want to say.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Authors like Don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements) and Mark Manson (The Subtle Art of Not Giving a…) have greatly shaped how I communicate practical wisdom in a real, relatable way.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on a follow-up that dives deeper into emotional intelligence and the art of inner peace. It will continue the journey of growth beyond the Let Them Approach.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’ve had good results with Kobo promotions, BookBub, Freebooksy, and building direct reader connections through my email list and social media.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Start messy. Don’t wait for perfection. Write from a place of truth, and let your message be more important than your fear.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Hmm “Don’t try to control what you can’t keep. Let go, and focus on becoming the best version of yourself.”
What are you reading now?
I’m reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s an excellent reminder that small changes lead to big results.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to expand my reach through speaking, workshops, and more hands-on content that helps readers apply these lessons in real life.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If I were stranded on a desert island, I’d bring:
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho – for its timeless wisdom and spiritual reflection.
Atomic Habits by James Clear – to stay mentally sharp and focused.
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl – a powerful reminder of hope and purpose.
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott – to keep my writer’s heart alive and inspired.
