About Every Silent Thing
Unlock the secrets or lose your life. Join Claire Deveraux as she races against time in the City of Lights, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Claire Deveraux is no ordinary twenty-three-year-old. Deaf but fiercely independent, she’s defied the odds to secure her dream position as a foreign service officer at the U.S. Embassy in Paris. But just when she thinks she’s living her fairy tale, her world is turned upside down. A dying woman in a restroom, a whispered secret, and a hidden thumb drive thrust her into a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Those aren’t just random items; they’re the keys to a fortune stolen in a high-stakes bank robbery. Now, a relentless killer believes Claire is the missing link to recovering the loot. With the clock ticking and a target on her back, Claire must decode the mystery before her pursuer deciphers her life’s final chapter.
In a life-or-death puzzle set against the romantic backdrop of Paris, Claire has one choice: solve it or become the next tragic piece. Will she keep her heart beating long enough to reclaim her dream life—or will time run out in the city that never sleeps?
