Interview With Author Faye Hall
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an Australian author of Steamy Historical Romantic Suspense eBooks. I have had 16 books published with Venus Press, Red Sage and Beachwalk Press but due to each of these publishers closing their doors I am exploring the world of indie publishing via my family run company 4th Avenue Press.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Carnal Transgression was inspired by my own great grandfather who was an Irish policeman who immigrated to Australia in the late 1800s.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not sure it’s unusual but I like listening to musicals whilst I write.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Amanda Quick and Agatha Christie novels were what got me into writing.
What are you working on now?
I’m editing several books at the moment and working on getting my previously published titles available on my website.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use Facebook and Twitter mostly, but I also rely on blogs and I have a YouTube channel too for book trailers.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
It’s hard but if you write for yourself you will always be rewarded.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
A bad first draft is better than a blank page.
What are you reading now?
I don’t read whilst I’m writing.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Trying to understand the world of indie publishing and learn more about marketting my upcoming titles.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?

To kill a mockingbird
Death on the Nile
